Garizole Stained Glass

EDITED ON JUNE 14TH, '15: This piece was completed on May 6th, 2013, but I never was able to capture a really good photo of it due to what times of day I have access to a camera. It really needs to perfect lighting to show off the colors, and even so, I still had to run it through photoshop to fully show off how it looks in real life; it's also on very delicate paper, so if you hold it up to the light, it shines through and makes it really bright just like real stained glass I wanted this piece to also emulate that effect, because that proved impossible to photograph correctly -.-

Because this looks so utterly different than the previous version, I'm much more proud to display it and show it off. I hope you like what you see. I for one am much much happier with this version!

In these stained glass pieces, the scene and background is supposed to correlate with the character's magical element. Garizole is Magician element, which involves powers of the mind, so he's shown reading a book

Old info:
This is another piece I did a while ago, about a year ago now. I was really inspired by the stained glass artwork from LOZ: The Wind Waker and thought it would be fun to try it out Forest style! So I gave it a shot with Garizole and Avery.

I did this completely in Prismacolor markers even though a digital style would be ideal for this kind of work, so there are mistakes. I still love how it turned out though. Gary came out perfect and I got to include a lot of fun little things, such as the border having fruit trees that are unique to the Forest (Gary's favorite fruit too) and then of course, behind him is a tree changed for autumn, and autumn is his (and my!) favorite season.

So this was a TON of fun! I can't wait to do more in the future!
